Preschool baking
It seems like most of my ideas spring from books that we get from the library...so, tip #1: go to the library!
My son loves the Maisy books by Lucy Cousins and we just checked out the book "Maisy Makes Gingerbread" http://www.amazon.com/Maisy-Makes-Gingerbread-Lucy-Cousins/dp/0763609102
We have read it lots of times together and we are going to embark on making our own gingerbread cookies this week.
We did a similar activity earlier in the summer where we read "Maisy Makes Lemonade" and we freshly squeezed our own lemons and made real lemonade. It was yummy as well as fun!
