Waiting for that day

I look at page after page of faces and I start to feel sick to my stomach. There are 317 souls that have bravely waited for someone to choose them, to be their sponsor, to write letters telling them they are beautiful, that they have worth. I click across to the last pages of faces and that's where I really start to feel it, I remember that face, Jose from Bolivia, I have seen him before. I remember his face from before Christmas. He is still there. What does he think about himself as child after child at his center gets picked and he is left with no sponsor. It just breaks my heart.
Jose needs a new voice, one who will tell him he is precious, loved, worth dying for. Jose needs the 221 days of waiting to be redeemed by years of love from a sponsor who delights in him. Children are like wet cement, the imprints of their youth dry out over time and stay with them. Oh that Jose's imprint would be the fingerprint of God's love, that he's been chosen and is worth loving.
It only costs $38 a month to make this kind of difference in a child's life. It's a small investment of time and money to affect a child's life for eternity.
Please consider sponsoring one of these children or praying for a face you see on the page, that they would find a sponsor soon.
Thank you so much.
